Howdy folks. I’m Vernon & I really am a complicated melody. But I have a catchy beat. I’m an IT Specialist by trade, but my passion is being a catalyst for personal growth & transformation in the lives of every one I interact with.

I’m a people person and seeing humanity learn, grow, progress & evolve makes my day. I’m big on strong & healthy families that make healthy & vibrant communities which are the building blocks for a vibrant & dynamic nation which can become a force for harmony, healing and PEACE throughout the world. Yeah I’m not afraid to think big either.

HighRoadism started as a bunch of sayings that only I would say. Kinda like YogiBerraisms. Then it grew into daily gems of wisdom that I started sharing with others. Then I realized each one of these is more than meets the eye so a blog was born.

So The High Road really is about moving towards Self-Mastery & then mastering the game of life on every level. This blog is THE place for ideas on mastering: Finances, Relationships, Faith, Parenting, Career, Sexuality, Race Relations, Entrepreneurship…Lets just say no subject is off limits but I come at everything with the highest good in mind.
